A long week since the last report due to the extended bank holiday weekend, I hope you all enjoyed your Diamond Jubilee festivities. Makes you proud to be British… watching Australian Rolfe Harris sing ‘Two Little boys’ to the Queen!
The Fishing at Chilham has been kind to some over the holidays with another 14 Thirty pound plus carp being caught. The biggest of the week fell to Colin Durman 39.10lb, a fish known as ‘single line’, its previous heaviest weight 36.04. Other highlights include a 33lb grass carp caught by Craig Pearman and the Beautiful ‘ Starburst Mirror’ coming out at a record weight of 35.04lb to Peter Thorne. Most of the thirties , are all up on their previous top weights. Good luck to you all …sport.
