Well,what a cold month , its a shame it turned so cold so early, as the Carp fishing was really good until the first freeze. Since then the water temperature has hardly been above one, the last reading 1st Feb the water was only 1.5 degrees. I am sure if the tempreature starts to creep up the fish will again start to show and be catchable.
The cold weather certainly hasn’t effected the pike fishing, they are attacking any well presented lure.
I am hoping to relay the river bank road this month, we have 300 tons of hardcore on order to do it with. Once the road is down,work parties will follow.
